Designed for professionals and informed learners alike, it explores the psychology, societal influences, and neuro-physical impacts of abuse, alongside intervention and prevention strategies. Part 1 focuses on the psychology of abuse, examining trauma, coercive control, and abuser behaviour through key theories such as attachment, conditioning, trauma bonding, and learned helplessness. Covering all forms of abuse, the course aims to empower learners, deepen survivor support, and contribute to global prevention efforts through trauma-informed, holistic knowledge.
