Suitable for beginners and wellness enthusiasts alike, the course offers optional certification and serves as a stepping stone toward further holistic and professional aromatherapy training.
The Level 1 Aromatherapy course builds on the introductory foundations of A Taste of Aromatherapy, offering a deeper exploration of essential oils, their applications, and practical uses, including product making and cookery. Led by Deborah, this course forms part of a structured learning pathway leading toward professional qualification. Learners explore the history of aromatherapy, safety, dilution, blending, and the role of aromatherapists, alongside hands-on demonstrations and multimedia learning materials. Designed for health-conscious individuals and holistic enthusiasts, the course supports personal well-being and skill development while serving as a prerequisite for advanced aromatherapy study.
The Level 2 Aromatherapy course is designed for learners ready to advance their knowledge and progress toward professional practice. Building on A Taste of Aromatherapy and Level 1, this course explores the science and art of essential oils in greater depth, including plant families, therapeutic properties, blending techniques, and massage applications. Students study an A–Z guide to essential oils and develop personalised blends through the “Recipe of Delight” module. Delivered through videos, voice-over presentations, and reading materials, the course provides a structured pathway toward the Level 3 Professional Aromatherapy Diploma while supporting safe practice with family and friends.
Professional Qualified Aromatherapy Practitioner Diploma
The Professional Aromatherapy Practitioner Diploma Course is the final stage in a four-level learning pathway for students seeking to practise as professional aromatherapists. Designed for those who have completed all prerequisite aromatherapy and professional body massage training, this advanced course focuses on clinical application, client care, and professional practice. Students develop skills in advanced anatomy, essential oil chemistry, bespoke blending, aromatherapy massage, and palliative care support. The programme prepares learners to work with paying clients, establish a holistic therapy business, and deliver safe, ethical aromatherapy services. Successful completion requires students complete a range of essays, case studies, assessments, and final examinations mapped against industry standards.
